Donna, I am so sorry about the sleepless nights. I have plenty of them. I have always suffered from insomnia and as I get older it doesn't seem to be going anywhere. I have to say that most of the time it is a bit better, but the not being able to sleep is terrible. It disrupts your whole day and makes for one long one too.
George, I am so glad that if you had to sit and listen to the presentations that you can at least enjoy the nice gifts that you got. That always helps. I guess I would try to keep my eye on the prize too. But I just can't seem to do that. Bill can but I just seem to feel sorry for them and want to do what I can to help them. Not a good thing for me, but for them it certainly is. :-)
Pat, I tried to call you the other day but I got your recording. I will try to find the time to call again today, that is if I don't forget. You know me~lady forgetful. I have something that I want to tell you before I forget. We were talking about it the other day when you called.
Floyd, congratulations on the director's coin that you received. See, that just proves to us what we already knew~you are just a irreplaceable to them as you are to us! If you ask me that calls for a celebration and you and Brenda should go for dinner someplace special. That sounds like a good plan to me.
Yes, I think that Bill is working on getting out of the depths of h3ll that he has been in since being at death's door. Probably because he has passed it on to me, or at least a terrible sore throat of it. I am not sure if he ever had a sore throat but boy I sure do. It started yesterday with some irritation and has just gone from there. I got up this morning and it just down right hurts like something awful. I can hardly swallow. I couldn't get him into the doctor until are you ready for this one? September 30th. He had a fit and I told him that I didn't know what else to do. I don't control their appointments so what am I suppose to do? I told her that he has a terrible cold and she told me that was the first opening they have. I think I would double question on having him as a doctor but then it isn't me. But it is like I told him, there isn't much that they can do for a cold. But then again certain death is another story isn't it? And I KNOW for sure that he is at death's door. Yeah right and my butts purple too.
I have to go into the church office this morning. Jeri has to start getting ready for charge conference and getting the reports done. She hasn't had a chance to even start them. I have some to do too but I am just going in to answer phones and run the bulletin for her. I told her that way she can concentrate on doing the reports that she has to get done. I can do mine in just a few minutes. I do have to make some copies for the meeting I am having this evening. I have a short meeting at 6:30 and then the dreaded one with the district superintendent at 7. I am dreading that one so much. I just know that she is going to be telling us that Pastor has chosen to leave. He needs to concentrate on his dad and father in law and I know that. He also has to finish his dissertation for graduation too. He is getting his PhD in the new testament. I am happy for him but not for us. He has been there for 3 years and I really like him a lot. I am going to miss him and his wife. She is a Pastor at another Methodist church. She is just such a sweetheart too. Like Britt is.
I guess I should get going. I have to get dressed and get a movin'. I am sending lots of love and plenty of hugs to go around with it. I am keeping all of you in prayers and special ones are going up for those in need of them. I am keeping you in traveling mercy prayers also Pat. Have a wonderful time and think of us. I NEED for you to give Annette some really BIG hugs just from me too. I want to meet her sooooo bad. But then again I want to meet everyone really bad too. Oh well, what is a girl to do?

I'm going bald...yes, pre-op. I'm hoping my pcp will call back today with an order for a thyroid check...I'm on thyroid med already but haven't had it checked in year and a half...my new pcp isn't ordering every 6 months like my other one did. I've been taking all my vits and minerals daily...I have lost 30# since April and maybe that is throwing off my thyroid but I need something soon...my hair is soooo thin on top that no matter how I style it (short) I can see my scalp. I have some new growth on the edges in front but on top it's bad. I'm seriously going to look for a wig to wear to work. I eat lots of protein and veggies/fruit, and drink 100oz water a day.
My hairdresser yesterday sold me some shampoo, leave in conditioner and scalp spray for thinning hair.
If anyone out there has any suggestions...PLEASE feel free to send them my way. This sounds so vain but if my hair is doing this now, how will it be after surgery?

Many people swear to Biotin, my hair has thinned considerably since WLS, I personally have not done the Biotin, because some have said it made hair grow everywhere and I certainly don't need that and since folks say the hair comes back in about a year, I think I can wait it out, but you might want to try it, I think you're supposed to take about 5000 units a day, but you can ask at any reputable Vitamin store that sells the stuff.

I went to bed at 0730pm lst night and slept like a baby.
Well I got a ticket for my daughter to come for Thanksgiving. She will be here for 4 days.
man the price of course was pretty pricey. I looked and looked and got it for 348.00 round trip. Kind of pricey from Chicago.
George do you want to send me some of your energy? I surely do need it.
Well got to go to the post office and see what to do about my stolen passport.

morning donna and my OFF family...
well yesterday we went looking for a mattress and box spring set...the place i saw the ad is where we went first...found a nice set...was told the delivery cost would be 99 bucks!!!! i mentioned the ad said any size any brand free delivery and set up and removal of old bed...he said i would have to spend 2 grand to get that deal!!! we told him BS that isn't what the ad said!!! i even showed him the ad...he said lady you have to spend 2 grand to get that deal...i told him where to stick that one!!!! the apartment is only 2 miles from that store and i was not going to pay 99 bucks for them to deliver it!!! plus they false advertised it any how!!!! we left there...went to another place...salesman showed us the beds and left us!!!! huh???????? didn't he want a sale?????? guess not...we left there...went to aarons and found the perfect bed!!!!!! if we lease it for 12 months we get free delivery and set up!!!! so we are getting us a new bed and its really comfortable too!!!!! so after we gett he bed and the first payment is due i am paying it off right away...11 more days!!!! woohooo
after we shopped for the new bed we went to burger king for a fast meal..was gettinglate and we didn't feel like making anything at home...like we really can make good food at home....hahaha 11 more days....anyhow...we got our food to go and we went to the lake shore and saw the beautiful sunset...the water was soooooo pretty in a light blue color...picture perfect to say the least...11 more days and we can watch the sunset from our apartment!!!!!
at work yesterday the old woman that trained me was furious at me...why?? because i forgot to empty the dustpan the night before!!! i said thats it?? wow sorry i forgot!!! then later on the woman that hired me came to see me...had a list of things and how they are to be done there in the food court...i mentioned the mess the old woman leaves me but i never complained to anyone about it i just cleaned up her mess....also her pizzas she cooks way to long they look burnt and dried out so do her pretzels!!! nobody wnats to buy them!!! so she told me to make a list of how i cook the foods and she will make it into a nice typed out list and this way everyone can do it right!!! guess that was a "atta girl" huh??????? so that is on my agenda for my day off today!!!! ;)
well diane just called me and needs me to run to the store for some fat hot dogs for her...she has to run to another store and get some other things and will meet me back here at the house...if rick knew i was doing her running he would be mad...all this woman does is run and forgets about "her" running for the cafe...but she needs some help so i will do it...sighs...
last night diane came down here and talked with us...seems that jerry is going to quit his job once again!!! rick said guess you will lose the house then huh...where you plan on going...NOT with us thats for sure!!! (good boy!!!) she said she didn't know but was going to fix the house up some and put it up for sale....fix it up with what?? they have NO MONEY to do anything!!! jerry needs a swift kick in his ass pants!!!! he wants a managers position and when they give him more responsibility he gawks at it!!! how can he get managers position if he can't handle what they give him now?????? 11 more days....
broke down and chatted a little with my sister in instant message...she told me while driving down the street gary opened the car door!!!!!! she said good thing he was seatbelted in!!! then i guess he did it again another time only on a busy street!!!!! she told him she was going to put him in back seat so the child proof locks would prevent him from opening the doors!!! then again she said maybe next time she would push him out....LOL go for it!!! then my car will be paid off if he dies...LOL i know i am so bad....LOL
i need a new bra!!! i am shrinking out of my cup size!!!! this is the pits for sure!!! i am getting boobless here more and more!!!! i hate that!!! need more off the legs and butt area not the boobs!!!!
chilly here this morning but sun is out...saw the purplish clouds while the sun was coming up...was beautiful!!!!
had a weird dream last night...started off that bandit had all these little bugs crawling all over him...ewwwww then i saw a couple friends from long ago...donna and sharron...seems sharron died after they left me...donna calls me and then shows up again...then this guy i knew from long ago also is there and is the pastor for the funeral...then lori shows up and the alarm goes off...totally weird dream!!!! i must send cards to my friends let them know i am thinking of them!!! sharrons husband has had another heart attack and nothing more they can do for him....just a matter of time now. donna is up in age so i should get in touch with her also. off today so good day to do this!!
waiting for diane to get here to pick up her hot dogs i went after for her then i am in the shower to get cleaned up and go looking for a new vaccum cleaner...have a few other things to look for also while i amout...might surprise rick at lunch today...:) i miss him alot....he works days and i work til 9 at times and weekends he is off i always seem to be working...maybe i will get the old womans early shift once she retires end of the year...that would be awesome!!! i was also promised manager of the food court too soooooo that is also good!!
ok life story is over for now...LOL i know my mouth runs like a whiporwills azz going south for the winter...(mom always said that to me lol) sooooo with that i say ttfn....(tatafornow)
